Indian spices
I quit France in this very cold december month, and fly for India for 2 weeks, more precisely in the Kérala State.
An exhibition is organised in the Cochin port, for the stop over of the biggest sailing around the world race: the Volvo Océan Race.
The Kérala tourisme office, and the ASSTA association invite me for this event.
This exhibition has been a real success, and the Indian public is a very good one, a way more enthousiastic than European one.
After theese few days of exhibition, i decide to discover a bit more of Kérala. I go to fly paragliding in the excellent sites of the mountains of Munnar, guided by edelweiss aventures team. Then i go to the very scénic “backwaters”, close to Kottayam city. Huge salted lakes and fishermen as fly stadium; real Asian ambiances!
This small first experience of India gives me a real good taste, and i want to stay longer; but it’s already time to clean my motor for the next destination: South América.

What timing! I just talked to Ani from Edelweiss a couple hours ago, I had met him at the competion in Bir in October and was invited to visit. I am in Bangalore visiting a friend and will go to Munnar in 2 days, sorry we couldn’t have been there at the same time to fly together!
Asia is quite addicting and 1 trip won’t be enough, do let me know if your coming back anytime to Nepal India or Pakistan and maybe we can meet. I have some Pakistani friends who are starting a paramotor club near Lahore over this winter.

It was the first Acro Show exhibition in India and the Volvo Race Organisers in Cochin were unanimous in stating that it was Mathieu who stole the show in the only Stop Over in India of the international Volvo Yacht Race. First time a Volvo StoOver in India and first time a ParaMotor Acro Show in India..U were superb..!

I travelled many kilometers to see your show and take a couple of good photos. Let me tell u i enjoyed it but i only got some long shots. Happy Flying …. May be nxt time i can meet u and take some shots.
