Selva session
Selva is the term used to designate the amazonian forest.
After more than 15 hours driving on tricky tracks, and sometimes at more than 4800 meters, we are welcomed by Georges in the Selva, in the Puerto Maldonado région.
We were lucky to manage 2 flights above the Madre de Dios river, which is the biggest affluent of the Amazonian river.
The howler monkeys doesn’t really appreciate our motors, and howl us some words i will not repeat here.
We see the real disaster of the gold searchers, who contributes a lot to déforestation, and to masive pollution of the river by mercury.
Back to Cusco after 36 hours of hell on Amazonian tracks and Andean slopes, where we prepare to return to France.
This trip was strong in adventures, landscapes and human encounters.
I wish you to discover these horizons one day with a wing, or with a motor.

photographs are excellent. amazon is very beautiful and flying above the rain forest is a dream come true. have you seen a jaguar while flying? thanks a lot.

Me parece barbaro, lo que hacen por este hermoso deporte,
nosotros somos de argentina, Yo y otro amigo volamos con las roadster. los demas amigos con rush power y rush 2, todos en paramotor, estamos pensando recorrer gran parte de Argentina, ya hemos hecho vuelos largos, y nos gustaria que vengan a visitarnos….. saludos Javier Pichetti de Junin, bs as Argentina !!!!!…
