Tahiti
It takes me one week to get out of Tago Mago. I really wonder why I had taken so much time after.
Too much time has passed on this boat. Delphine gets her terrible bad mood once more, this time I don’t really know why, and I am not looking forward to understand to honest.

Sailing Fakarava – Tahiti
36 hours to cross the 300 miles between Tahiti and the paradise… oups, Fakarava. Good wind, 20 knots, backward, easy ride then for us.
Anxiety of the captain becomes harsh and we, crew, feel quite bad in this context. I am really wishing to find another boat in Tahiti to leave Tago Mago as soon as [...]

The Great Crossing
Day 1
Once more the anchor’s chain is lifted up, engine running to get us out of the Puerto Ayura’ harbor, we are leaving Galapagos on Tago Mago.
It’s 5pm, temperature is about 29°C, as well as the sea water, hygrometry is 80%, and… who cares? We are not in a plane, but on a boat…

Galapagos Islands
Galapagos will be a concentrate of good news. The very first night, my computer gets fixed; I find a job as bike guide and also a school to give a conference.
The deal for the job is basic: I find some tourists and the agency furnishes the bikes and logistic, I would get paid by number [...]

Cruising Panama to Galapagos
30th. March 6:30am – it’s time.
Engine runs, anchor is lifted up, covered of smelly mud, Jsea’s propeller pushes us through the Pacific water. We turn our back to Panama, America, and leave right toward the great Blue.

Panama, not such nice country
I get to meet the Panamean people.
My opinion is just getting worst and worst every day I pass in the country. People here are the least welcoming and the most unhelpful people I have seen in my whole trip!

Conference in the French school of Panama
As Régis’ wife Gaële is a teacher in Panama French School, I offer to give a conference about my project to the children.
They will be 50 in front of me asking me questions after questions, so passionate about other countries and how is the world around.
I am quite surprised at the end when they all [...]

Régis
Looking for a sailboat to cross the Pacific must be started where sailboats are.
My first day there, I am asking to people if they would like to have a crew on board. I get quickly to know a very special French captain: Régis came from Nicaragua to live here with his family. His wife Gaèle [...]

Ludovic Hubler
It’s morning at Shelter bay beach on which we slept overnight. Antoine is part of the team for this moment. We met the day before; he is also looking for a sailboat to cross the Pacific.
